Saltillo Terracotta Saltillo Terracotta comes from the northern area of Mexico. The clay is mixed by hand and then cut into shapes and left to dry in the sun. After the tiles are fired in traditional wood burning kilns. This gives Saltillo Terracotta the distinctive colours of red, orange and yellow. All the tiles are different shades and characteristically have chips, marks and may have animal prints. Sizes are 40x40, 30x30, 22x22 square and 30x30,20x20 Octagonal. For internal use only |
